EXOMEBlast™ is a customized tool, which facilitates you to perform BLAST against local databases and NCBI BLAST database and user -defined/created databases as well. Compare, filter and append your results and store in the local databases.
EXOMEBlast™ offers the following features:
Iterative BLAST
EXOMEBlast™ lets you perform efficient net BLAST (in case you don't have local BLAST facility) even if you have a low-speed Internet access. EXOMEBlast™ takes care of your hits even if power goes off or Internet connection is disconnected, after submitting the hits, and retrieves the results automatically after the required services are resumed.
Quick building of local databases
Creating local databases with EXOMEBlast™ is so fast and easy that a user can build local collection of sequence data, perform a few BLASTs and then store the result in the local database and start over with a fresh search.
Comparative BLAST
A researcher can use EXOMEBlast™ to store the input and output data in different data security systems, which are easily accessible and comparable to other datasets.
The two different datasets mentioned above that are to be compared, could be the output of two different BLAST types (For e.g. BLAST N and BLAST X etc.)
Efficient Filtering
